Mary Carewe's versatility ranges from musical theatre showstoppers and cabaret songs to the avant-garde - repertoire she masters with musicality, personality and panache. Whether she sings James Bond movie themes, Broadway songs, Serious Cabaret or Contemporary Music, she embraces each genre to make the style her own.

She has worked with conductors such as Carl Davis, Kurt Masur, Sir Simon Rattle and John Rutter and regularly appears as a soloist with major international orchestras. Mary made a wide variety of recordings including a collection of Cabaret songs for ASV, Musical Theatre classics with the RPO and, for EMI, Thomas Adès’ Life Story with the composer.
