Last week I had the pleasure of performing the music of James Bond - Shaken And Stirred - with The Orchestra Of Opera North in Huddersfield Town Hall and it was electric. The orchestra made a fabulous sound and really threw themselves into it and I loved it - as always! The audience seemed to enjoy themselves too - it is a concert that really does appeal to so many as everyone has their own personal favourite Bond theme and each one stirs up memories.

I have been so fortunate to have performed James Bond concerts around the world with a great many different orchestras and I can honestly say that singing the songs is always a real thrill! Every time I hear the intro to Diamonds Are Forever or Licence To Kill - or Goldeneye or Skyfall etc etc - the music and atmosphere is so exciting; the adrenaline starts to pump! It's impossible to find them boring as they are all such well crafted songs and - to be frank - an enormous challenge! Just what a singer like me enjoys! I don't like to take things too easily!
