With fabulous songs from West Side Story, Wonderful Town, On The Town and Candide my trip to Dublin to work with the RTE Concert Orchestra was an enormous pleasure. It was great to work with conductor Roderick Dunk for the first time in a while! He relished the repertoire - and especially enjoyed introducing 'Take Care Of This House', from the short lived musical 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue about the establishment of the Presidential residence, the White House, after the American Civil War, the emotional lyrics of which feel very relevant in the current era!
My fellow singers were Graham Bickley and Katie Birtill both of whom were amazing! A big and technically challenging show but very satisfying to do!
