Often as a 'session singer' you walk into a studio to work and you have no idea who the artist will be or what project you will be working on. In the last couple of weeks I have had a couple of very nice surprises!
A group of ladies from Metro Voices had the enormous pleasure of recording with Eric Clapton - an album that will be out later in the year I believe! Whether we will get to join him one day at the Royal Albert Hall remains to be seen but we are all keeping our fingers crossed!
Then a few days later we were recording the soundtrack for Mission: Impossible - Fallout and were each presented with a mug from the composer Lorne Balfe and Tom Cruise!
