With many years of experience as one of London’s busiest session and concert singers Mary Carewe knows the best vocal talent AROUND and has established relationships with studios, composers and musical production companies.
As a vocal director she has put together choirs, backing vocal groups and recommended soloists for many prestigious clients.
Mary ‘s work as a studio singer has led her to sing for artists such as Michael Jackson, Elton John, Mike Oldfield and Joe Cocker, film composers Danny Elfman, Alan Menken, Hans Zimmer and John Williams and for numerous TV and radio shows and jingles.
Through the success of the DELTA AIRWAYS SYNCHRONISED FLYING commercial she recorded several chart topping ADIEMUS CDs for composer KARL JENKINS.
She sang backing vocals for the classic STEPS albums: STEP ONE, STEPTACULAR and BUZZ for PWL.
She is the voice of AUTOGLASS (sorry!)
She has sung on hundreds of film soundtracks including THE HOBBIT series, MARY POPPINS RETURNS, INTO THE WOODS, BEAUTY AND THE BEAST and ALICE IN WONDERLAND.
For UK TV she has recorded several theme tunes including for FRENCH AND SAUNDERS, THE WARTIME KITCHEN AND GARDEN and EVERY WOMAN KNOWS A SECRET
