How lovely that the concert FORCES SWEETHEARTS that was recorded a couple of years ago has been repeated on BBC Radio 2. In it we celebrate the wonderful Dame Vera Lynn and other performers from the WWII era. The show features The Puppini Sisters, Lucy Williamson and the fabulous Su Pollard with the BBC Concert Orchestra and maestro Richard Balcombe. I sing some great songs including The White Cliffs Of Dover, Lilli Marlene and We’ll Meet Again. It can be heard for the next 4 weeks via the BBC website.
