I spent a few days in Berlin this week preparing with The Sheridan Ensemble for concerts later in the year. The programme: Chaconna, Lamento and Walking Blues is full of wonderful and varied music from Monteverdi and Purcell to The Eagles and Percy Mayfield with instrumentation including theorbo, harpsichord and vibraphone alongside flute, violin and cello. This time we are adding a baroque guitar player, Steve Player, who is also a dancer! Very exciting!
